Unbelievable: Live Animal Keychains Exist And People Are Furious

The keychains are good gift and good souvenir when you are in a hurry. It seems like the people not pay so much attention on it because we always keep them in the pocket.
But i have noticed something strange in the CNN web site and i must share this with you. These keychains definitely has made too much noise and too much attention.
Vendors in China have been selling live animal keychains for years: small plastic bubbles containing trapped turtles, fish, salamanders and frogs.

For about $1.50 you can get one for yourself. Vendors typically sell them outside train and subway stations in the major cities.

Let’s just say that some people love them — and some people absolutely hate them.

The keychains contains crystalized oxygen and enough nutrients to keep the animals alive.

CNN has reported on these keychains in the past and found that they were being sold for as cheap as $1.50 each.

As you might imagine, animal rights groups in China have condemned these live animal keychains as “cruel” and “inhumane.”

Still, that hasn’t stopped sale of the keychains throughout China. They’re especially popular with young people, who see them as a fashionable accessory.
