This is a lovely tutorial that will teach you to make lovely faux capiz chandelier. Hanging an elegant chandelier doesn’t require spending a lot of money on a high-end light display, but with this simple material, you can make a beautiful, faux capiz chandelier. Capiz shells have been used to create stylish chandeliers, but finding these shells can be challenging and expensive. Amazingly, a faux capiz chandelier made with wax paper can look practically identical!

For this cheap project you will need

Wax paper – 2 boxes
Parchment paper
Old metal-framed lampshade or metal basket
Cream or beige thread – 1 to 2 spools
1 1/2 or 2 inch circle paper punch
Iron
Paper cutter
Sewing machine (or optional just needle and thread)
Swag hooks
