This cultural World Heritage Site is one of the best-preserved theaters of its kind. Built during the rule of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, this infamous theater could seat between 15,000 to 20,000 people.

Hagia Sophia

The Library of Celsus is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The library once stored over 12,000 scrolls that dated back to the fourth century B.C. It was visited by renowned historical figures such as:

The Library of Celsus is located forty-five minutes from the International Airport of Izmir and currently costs just $11.00 USD to enter.
