Remove Mold From Shower Caulking

We all know how gross, unhealthy and bad the mold is. But also we should all admit that there is almost no way to avoid it, especially in areas where there is moisture naturally like the bathroom. Here is some way to remove the mold from caulking you need to try. All you need for it are the following materials: bleach, bowl, water, gloves, cotton balls and ventilation mask (which is not a must, but is recommended). Because the bleach is a harsh chemical you must wear gloves and use ventilation.

First fill a large bowl with water. Then prepare the bathroom for cleaning (open the window, put on the gloves and the mask, and turn on the fan in the bathroom…). Add a small amount of bleach to the water and mix well. Dip the cotton balls into the bleach water and apply them directly onto the caulking with mold. Continue to repeat the same with all the cotton balls and all the areas covered with mold. Leave the cotton for about 2-4 hours r until the mold is removed. Spot check an area to see if the mold on shower caulking is gone. If it is not yet, wait another hour.  If the mold is gone, remove all the cotton balls. Take care to handle the bleach with gloves and a mask on.  Let the area dry. You don’t need to rinse it with water.

Remove That Horrible Urine Smell From The Bathroom

All of us have experiences that horrible urine smell at least once in life. And if you have wondered if it is possible to get rid of it on a easy way, let us tell you that there is and it is presented right here. All you need are the following materials: disposable gloves, measuring cup, soft sponge, lemon juice, old toothbrush, baking soda and white vinegar.

All you need to do is to mix the baking soda and the lemon juice together until a paste is formed. Put from the paste on your gloves and start applying from it on the areas of the toilet where you feel the strongest odor. Leave the mixture sit on these areas for about 15 minutes. Then add ½ cup vinegar to the toilet bowl and let it sit for about 15 minutes.  At the end use the sponge to clean the toilet and the areas around it. After you have done all these steps flush the toilet two times and add a half cup of vinegar. Remove the paste you have places onto the toilet using a toothbrush with vinegar. Flush the toilet once again and say goodbye to the bad odor.

Use A Pillowcase To Dust A Ceiling Fan

Ceiling fan may not be your priority to clean as it is high in the ceiling, but it is one of the items that collects most dust, so you need to clean them regularly. If you can reach the ceiling fan from the floor them you may have no problems with cleaning it. All you need is some old pillowcase. Put the open end of the blade as you pull the case toward you and you will catch all the dust in the pillowcase. Sounds brilliant, right?

If you can’t reach the ceiling fan from the floor, you will need some helping tool. You can use a duster with a hole in the middle that lets you slide it right over the blades so both the top and bottom get cleaned at once. Because this will send most of the dust drop below, make sure to have the furniture covered with something before you start cleaning.
