Allow the vinegar to simmer for another hour. Drain out the vinegar, rinse your paintbrushes, and marvel at their fresh, soft bristles.

2.Soften clothes and replace dryer sheets

Pour ¼ – ½ cup vinegar (depending on your washer type) in along with detergent for your wash cycle—then enjoy static-free, lint-free, soft clothes.

3.Remove scorch marks on your iron

Add a bit of vinegar onto a clean cloth and rub until the burn is removed.

If your iron is extra grimy, soak a paper towel in vinegar and lay it flat.
