Healthy Smoothies To Keep You Energized During The Whole Day

If you are a fan of healthy life you know the importance of a smoothie. Smoothie drinks are rich with vitamins and most people use them to change a whole breakfast a day. They are perfect choice if you are in a hurry and you have not enough time to prepare a real breakfast. People who wake up early in the morning and spend the whole day on work prepare smoothies to keep them energized and provide their organism all the needed vitamins. In this article we are sharing with you some easy to prepare healthy smoothie recipes you need to try.

1.Healthy Shamrock Shake Recipe

You need 1 overripe large frozen banana, cacao nibs or chocolate chips, as desired, 1/8 tsp to 1/4 tsp pure peppermint extract (I like 1/4 tsp), 1 cup milk of choice, optional 1/4 cup frozen spinach, optional,  1/8 tsp salt to bring out the flavor. Mix the syrup ingredients in a blender and mix well until the ingredients are even. Add peppermint extract. Finally, add the chocolate pieces. Serve in a glass.

2. Acai Smoothie Bowls

Take 1/2 cup milk of choice, 1/2 cup canned coconut milk or more milk of choice, 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract, tiny pinch salt (to bring out the sweetness), 1 overripe frozen banana or 3/4 cup Thai coconut meat, 1 tbsp acai powder, sweetener of choice, as desired. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Put the obtained mixture in a plate. Top with grated coconut or fresh berries.

3. Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

For preparation of this smoothie you need 2 overripe frozen large bananas, 4-6 tbsp peanut butter or pb2, or allergy-friendly sub, 1 1/2 to 2 cups milk of choice, depending on desired thickness, scant 1/8 tsp salt, optional 1 / 3 cup quick oats or rolled oats, sweetener of choice, to taste, optional scoop protein powder. First add the oats in a bowl. Leave for a while until a powder forms. Then add the remaining ingredients. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

4. The Pink Energizer Bunny Smoothie

You need the following ingredients for this smoothie: 1 roasted small beet, 1/2 frozen banana, or 1/2 cup frozen cherries, 1 cup milk of choice, tiny pinch salt to bring out the sweetness, sweetener of choice to taste (such as dates, stevia, or pure maple syrup), 1 tbsp cocoa powder, optional, 1 scoop protein powder, optional. All you have to do is put all the ingredients in a blender. Mix well. Put the resulting mixture in glasses.

5. Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

To prepare this recipe you need 2 tbsp canned pumpkin or pumpkin puree, 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 cup milk of choice, or (for a richer taste) a combination of nondairy creamer and milk, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, 3-4 tbsp strong coffee, sugar or stevia to taste. In a bowl, mix all ingredients except coffee. Prepare the coffee in another bowl. Pour in the previous mixture. Add coconut if desired.
