Immune Boosting Food You Must Eat In Order To Strengthen You Immune System During Corona Virus

As the situation with the corona virus spreading is getting even worse with every single day, we advise you to listen and follow the measures the World Health Organization has set in order to stop the further spread of the COVID-19. In order to avoid the virus infection you should keep your personal hygiene at highest level, wash frequently your hands, get enough sleep and eat regularly. Here we have prepared a list of the needed food and nutrients you must include in your every day eating menu in order to boost your immune system.

Probiotic are considered to be the good bacteria in the organism that are the first line of defense against anything you ingest. The foods that are rich with probiotic are the following: yogurt, kefir, kombucha, miso and sauerkraut. Don’t miss to include any of them in your daily menu if you want a healthy organism.

Proteins, can be from two different sources, from lean animals sources and from plants sources.  They all have the ability to boost your immunity by regulating the existing cells and generating new ones. The lean animal proteins are in the meat form the animals, and the plant-based ones are in plants such as chickpeas, beans, lentils, peas….

Water, you don’t need to feel sick or flu to drink water. You should always know that the water and drinking it is the most important for every organism. You must keep drinking even more water when you are sick. Water helps in regeneration of immune-fighting lymphatic cells that make your body stronger.

Vitamins, especially vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin E. The most important vitamin for boosting your immunity is vitamin C, which help protect your body from infection. You can find it in citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons or grapefruit, but also in red bell peppers and strawberries.  Vitamin A is another important vitamin helping your body to regulate its immune system, and you can find it in vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, broccoli, red bell peppers, carrots… The vitamin E is considered to be an antioxidant and it helps to neutralize free radicals in the body. You can find vitamin E in almonds, hazelnuts, peanut butter, but also in green vegetable such as spinach and broccoli.
