DIY napkin folding tutorials that will delight you
Whether you’re planning a party, a wedding, or just chilling with friends, proper table setting, is part of the success of any event. Napkins, as well as beautiful dishes, play this great role. A great setting is not necessarily an expensive service and a luxurious tablecloth. Unusually and stylishly folded napkins can leave a much more impression on guests and everyone around them.
1. The Cone Napkin Fold
To make the cone napkin fold, first lay the napkin face down in front of you.
Then fold it in half diagonally.
Orient the napkin that way the open corners faces away from you.
Fold the left corner diagonally so the point rests on top of the napkin
Repeat the same with the right corner.
Turn the napkin over, so that the open ends faces away from you.
Fold the bottom third of the napkin up and press it down. You can use an iron for better results.
At the end fold both the left and right sides back and underneath the napkin to create the final product. Your cone napkin is done.
2.The Napkin Ring Fan Fold
For ring fan napkin folding, first lay the napkin face down in front of you.
Then fold it in half and re-open it so that you will leave a crease in the center.
Then start accordion-folding the napkin up to the crease on the center, ensuring that the final fold will rest right on the crease.
Continue accordion-folding the napkin until you finish the whole of it.
Then, fold the fan in half.
At the end insert the folded end into a napkin ring that you have prepared or bought before. And, that is. Your ring fan napkin is done.
3.The Crown Napkin Fold
To make the crown napkin, first lay the napkin face-down in front of you.
Then, fold it in half diagonally.
Orient it that way so the open ends are pointing away from you.
Fold the right corner up so that the point rests directly on top of the middle-corner.
Repeat the same procedure with the left corner, creating a diamond shape.
Fold the bottom of the napkin up about 2/4’s of the way and press down well.
Fold the smaller triangle down and press.
Curl both sides of the napkin up so they meet in the middle and tuck one into the other.
Stand the crown napkin up and tug at it where needed. Your crown is down.
