My dear friends within the raise of the technology and the usage of the tablets and smartphones i’m pretty sure that there come a lot of advantages for the blind and visually impaired people since the most operating systems provide a guide system via audio. However, not every bit of information can be passed through audio, hence Braille was invented, a tactile language that allows blind people to read.
The most interesting thing that we are so happy to share with you is that there is one cool technology innovation that will help a lot for these people.
Austria-based startup company named Blitab Technology claims the “revolutionary” technology could be used to open up the digital era to the visually impaired, with plans to develop a braille smartphone.
The first-ever braille tablet has been developed, using a new liquid-based technology to create tactile relief outputting braille, graphics and maps for the blind and partially sighted. Below also you could see a few photos from the concept.
The great breakthrough is the tablet’s display, capable of forming microbubbles, creating text and images in Braille.
This genius invention should be released by the end of 2016 and can convert of any text file into Braille from USB sticks, memory Cards, web browsing and obtaining information via NFC tags
